KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Dr. Thomas Broadhead, a University of Tennessee-Knoxville geology professor, received the Distinguished Service Award from The Paleontological Society at its recent annual meeting in New Orleans. The award honored Broadhead’s educational book series, “Short Courses in Paleontology,” which he founded in 1980. The short course is published annually by the UT-Knoxville geology
