Thirty-six Knox County students attending the University of Tennessee-Knoxville have been inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society.
Membership in the honor society is limited to juniors and seniors in the College of Liberal Arts who have shown outstanding academic achievement.
Phi Beta Kappa, founded in 1776, is the oldest national academic honor society in the United States. The organization has more than 170 chapters nationwide.
